Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

An optional subscription provides credit in the cash shop at a higher value and earlier access to material than free-to-play players. "

I don't think they've said, officially, how much the initial cost will be but for some reason I have the sum of approximately $50 U.S. in my head.

Yeah. An official price hasn

Yeah. An official price hasn't yet been revealed. The original Kickstarter held for CoT back in 2013 had it to where backers that donated $50 or more, they would get the digital download to the game upon launch day. If this is anything to go off of the game could likely cost anywhere between these price ranges. But this is largely just speculation on my end.

CoT is the least of your worries tbh. Hope you get back on your feet. Forget about the game, try and get back on your feet. CoT will be here waiting for you with open arms.

And F2P isn't what many make it out to be. You will most likely spent more money on F2P games than subs. Sub titles usually run $15 a month; cash shop items in "F2P" games can cost you $15 on top of a sub unless you want like 10 inventory slots and limited access to your money.

CoT is not like that. I am just saying, be wary of the "F2P" trap. CoT needs financial support just as people need financial support. People cannot run off of Free to work, everyday workers want to be paid. Certainly a company cannot run strictly off of free content, something has to cost dollaz.

As a child, I thought my name was handsome, cause that is what everyone called me.

That must be where I got the $50 figure from, thank you!

Yeah speaking of "old things" I always assumed the "working theory" of paying an upfront cost for CoT was that it was effectively like like buying a "retail box" off the shelf like us old-timers used to do in the good old days. As others have said MWM needs to make money somehow and providing them some money like this "upfront" seems reasonable to me.

I thought there were also plans for a VIP subscription model, and that the upfront cost included equivalent VIP time for that cost.

Similar to buying an old retail box for EQ back in the day giving you a month or two of account time when you made your account with it. The difference being that I think CoT won't require a subscription to keep playing, it just gave you extra perks.

Kind of like how SWTOR does it? I'm sure there are other games that are "free to play but also have an optional subscription for perks".

Wolfgang8565 specifically mentioned the 3 month "free subscription" you get when you buy the initial CoT "box" earlier in the thread.
