Here's the back story.
We start in the 1930s with a hit pulp adventure serial titled "The Adventures of (hero name)". The star of the films is a classic golden age actor named Bugsy Posey. Posey is a ruggedly handsome playboy who perfectly exemplifies the titular character. One night Posey embarks on an adventure himself, flying his private prop plane on a trans Atlantic flight. Somewhere over the Bermuda Triangle, communication is lost and Posey is never seen again.
Or so we thought!
Some 80 years later, a pristine prop plane lands in London with Posey inside, unharmed. Strangely, he appears as though no time has passed, and he now insists that he is the real (hero name).
The story ends ambiguously, where you're not supposed to know if the actor has suffered some sort of delusion, is faking one, or somehow has become the pulp hero himself. Kinda like a Twilight Zone episode. For names, I'm just looking for something that sounds pulpy. Like a common first name meets an adjective or verb for a last name (Joe Venture, for example).
