Exporting Characters as 3D Models?

Sorry if I am posting a repeat question or posting in the wrong spot. I did try to find the right place to ask this question. Well anyway, here it is! Would it be possible to export a created character as a 3D model, such as for the purposes of 3D printing?

Friend of mine showed me a picture from someone having some success in converting CoH character designs to his 3D printer, but I was curious about if CoT would have such a feature easily added or whatnot.

Any chance you could link the pics/ thread your friend showed you? I've been wanting to do this for a while, but was lead to believe CoX was horrible to try and export models into something printable.
