Missing Worlds Media’s Composition Department is looking for a few good writers! If you are a focused, energetic, creative person with excellent writing skills, this may be the position for you.

Writers in the Composition Department undertake numerous tasks, as assigned by team management. Writers may be asked to create their own content that matches the baseline of the world we are making, be assigned to work with previously created concepts where consistency across the team is key, or both.

We are currently searching for new writers to join our Bullpen. Bullpen writers are assigned tasks by the Composition management team, which can range from “draft up 5 NPCs” to “take over writing duties on this half-finished mission.” It’s not always glamorous, but what writing gig is? More seriously, working as a Bullpen writer will teach you to exercise your creativity in a focused, disciplined way, which is the hallmark of professional writing.

Writers at Missing Worlds Media are expected to be able to complete assignments in a timely manner. They are also expected to hold true to the shared world that the team has been building since the project’s inception. We ask that our writers respect each other and the ideas that their fellow writers have previously submitted. As this is an ongoing project, we have specific phases in which different parts of the game take priority. Right now is a critical moment for the Composition team, and we need dedicated writers who are willing to put in the time and effort to provide our players an excellent product. We need writers who can commit to deadlines, work with the material we have, and truly join us in creating a shared world unlike any other.
