1. I do not believe so, it is just a way to help promote the artists and writers and raise a little bit of cash. They also have a Ko-Fi account open. Link at bottom of page.

We don't even know in what format the 2nd chance will be offered, kickstarter/indie go-go/etc. It may well be that it's setup through Patreon and subscribing at a certain level or if you pass a certain payment amount you get beta access. Only the dev's know what they are planning to do. We just have to be patient and see what happens
