Need a name for this robot

You guys have been awesome helping other people come up with names, so I thought I would give it a try with one I find difficult.

Backstory:
An entrepreneur with questionable morals and enough financial backing to disregard them in any case tries to create the ultimate sex robot. He programs it with the three laws of robotics, and the courtesan's version of them, basically programming the robot to love humans. Informed that the zeroth law needs also to be incorporated, they program the robot with the zeroth law and the corresponding courtesan's version of the zeroth law.

For those who don't know. The first law of robotics is that a robot shall not harm a human.
so, the corresponding first law of a sex robot is that a robot shall love a human.

The zeroth law of robotics, however, states that a robot shall not harm humanity. This is meant to prevent cases in which if in avoiding harm to a human, the robot allows humanity to come to harm.
Unthinkingly, they programmed the zeroth law of a sex robot to love humanity. They really weren't thinking when they did this, because the zeroth law overrides the first law.

So, the combination of these laws logically leads to only one conclusion: The robot will love humanity and prevent harm to humanity by stopping, and possibly harming, those who would do so.

The robot passed all its testing in the lab with flying colors. It demonstrates the full range of human emotions and empathy. But when faced with its first actual customer, realized that the whole arrangement was aberrant and has been on a non-stop crusade to save humanity from itself ever since.

Details:
Built to withstand any kind of abuse, literally, I expect the robot will be an invulnerability Stalwart. I don't know what the secondary power set will be yet, but I'm leaning towards strength just by process of elimination. We'll see what the mitigation power set looks like.

The concept is intended to look VERY robotic, but also VERY female. In other words it will be a fembot trope. Because I need it to be obvious that we're talking about a robot here. So if it ever had an aesthetic synthetic skin, that has long since fallen away (possibly only in places?).

I'm thinking something like these, depending on how the character creator works out:

One name I thought of is Hel, as in Hel/Maria from the classic film Metropolis. But Hel is also the name of the Norse ruler of the underworld, and I really don't want to confuse things with that.
A gynoid is the name for a female android (gyno=fem, andro=masc) robot with feminine characteristics, so Gynoid is an option, but that really doesn't grab me by itself.

I've drawn a complete blank here.

- Should I just give it a girl's name as if it was given to "her" and she just kept it?
- Should It be a model or prototype designation? <=== this would be the most likely domain for names, I think. This whole character concept has a bit of a retro sci-fi feel to it, so a name similar to Cherry 2000 would be appropriate, if unoriginal.
I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

It depends on the philosophical spirit of your robot (sic ! ^^) does she/it think she is human after all ? or does she/it knows she/it 's a robot and not a human ?

For human, you could give it a name like "firstname"2.0, or maybe Humandolly ^^
For a robot, it seems that a model or prototypedesignation is a good way to find a name :)

That, sir, is a damnably good question.

I think the robot is self-aware. It may not have originally been so, but it is smart enough to know the difference between itself and a human. In the controlled environment of a bordello, maybe it would have never found out. Emotionally, however, I feel as if the programming is written so as to behave like a human, even though it knows it is not one now. It is programmed to love, so it really does care for everyone it meets; hero, villain or other. It makes a great therapist. I think the only people it is not programmed to love is its creator and maybe a couple of the key lab technicians who were involved in the development.

So, it has a conscience and a moral sens ? if yes, so maybe it's human enougth :)
She could have gave herself a human name but add some word to keep in mind she is a robot after all/unfortunately ?

The sculptor was Pygmalion, and the statue was Galatea. Not to be confused with Professor Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle. ^_^

If she had broken her software chains completely (or if she thinks she has), I'd suggest Lillith as a self-selected name.

How about Anne Droid :3

How about Anne Droid :3

Or maybe H.D. Which could stand for Highpowered Droid

CAM or CAMI could be good too, I'm sure it could be an acronym for something Machine Intelligence like

This is the name that I would have come up with, so it gets my vote. That, or Victoria as a reference to the Mk-VI Victoria androids from Praetoria. Maybe stylized as Vixtoria or something.

A beautiful, liberated woman

A beautiful, liberated woman who is driven to defend her people? First thought that came to mind was Eowyn, Shieldmaiden of Rohan, except laywers. (Second thought was, um, Sister Silicon, but her backstory comes from a radically different, Tony Stark-ian direction. No worries, they should get along fine. ????) So, working backwards to Tolkein’s Scandinavian influences for the Rohirrim, try to come up with some leet-code or a backronym, and we get…

FR3.J4, as in Freja, Norse goddess of love, beauty, sex, and war. Also a backbench character in Marvel comics who hasn’t appeared in the MCU, and definitely not in the form of a sexbot.

(Good thing Eowyn wasn’t a Dunlending, because then we’d be getting into the f***ed-up mythology of the Celts. Trust me, you don’t want to try and make a hero out of The Morrigan.)

Also Prosperity and, as one who receives a share of the Honored Dead gathered by the Valkyries, Death. Most of my characters who are followers of Freyja would have little problem with FR3.J4's mission as described above.

Fryeja is a favorite, an ancient fertility goddess, a 'conquered' power, subsumed and often ignored by the Aesir. Yet she is manifestly every bit as powerful as old one-eyed Odin, who may or may not have splintered off a persona to marry her, or might be visiting her as a concubine, and whom She taught magic to. She keeps a mansion every bit as marvelous as Valhalla... yeah, a stealth power - everyone knows she's a badass, they just don't talk about it.

You guys are amazing. Every single post above has been enlightening.

When I read "Romance" in post #5, I was blown away. I love it. "Solace" in post #6 peaked my interest as well. I probably won't use either as a name, but the mere thought was such a paradigm shift from where my head had been, it was as if unseen shackles were removed from my mind. Thank you.

All told. I am now definitely going for a take on a proper name. I think TitansCity nailed it in post #4, when he concluded based on our psychology of the character that "she" would take and keep a real name and identity. But rather than a normal human name like Lisa, Hel, or Maria; I would expect that it would be one of those pseudo-names that callgirls go by so they don't have to use their real names at work. So something like Romance, Solace, Delight, etc. would be spot on. Victoria was a nice catch, Cobalt Azurean. It meshes well with the direction I want to go and also is a great homage to City of Heroes.

Comfort Girl is a name that on paper would be a perfect collision of meaning with the stereotypical female hero naming convention of __girl. But in practice, I just don't like it for this character. Maybe if she was more human in appearance.
Love Child would be another great name for a superhero, but I would never bring the concept of a child into the mature subject matter of this character, so that one is a non-starter.

I think if this character were to ever turn rogue or villain, for whatever reason, it would be the result of a loss of her perceived humanity. At that point I think she would definitely take on a more model number sounding moniker. FR3.j4 is really clever and I don't think I would have thought of it in hundred years.

While I am still undecided, I know which direction I want to go with it now. Thank you all.
