Is there a list of what kind of power themes we will have at launch? (Electric, Energy, Fire, etc.) Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and didn't find anything.

Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.
I think it is odd that Dr. Tyche stated in another thread that electric, fire and ice were themes. We were told in October of last year that they won't be using aesthetic themes any longer.
I refer to this post:
So... I guess things are a little less clear than we thought.
I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.
i think a complete update with screenshots on "DIY : creating your power" could be a nice news :)
like

Re-reading the original and going from memory I interpret it as that power sets are no longer limited (or at least much less so) by their base mechanical thematics but that we're still going to have "base themes" like fire, electric, ice and so on when starting to design the aesthetics of our powers. The choices for each individual powers will still make sense for that power thou.
Yes, this is how I interpreted that as well. I was just curious if anyone has elaborated on the base themes themselves, as far as which kinds we can expect?
I agree from a quick-build point of view, it would make sense if MWM pre-packaged some aesthetics themes into bundles. So you could select the ice theme or the fire theme at character creation and doing so would establish some default aesthetics. Then you could adjust each power individually from there if you so choosed.
That would make a lot of sense and would streamline the character creation process so you don't have to create every single power aesthetic from scratch.

Mechanic themes are different than aesthetic themed.
Originally this was a bit different. Where there was a broadly named Theme which governed the mechanic and the range of possible aesthetics.
This changed when during early development it created issues with production pipelines and requring multiple libraries. Which, when looked at from a “in the furture” perspective would take a cumbersome production pipeline into a monstrosity for both production and maintenance.
Power design was then simplified in that mechanic theme was to be completely agnostic toward aesthetics. Obviosly some thins are impossible to avoid such as a range attack would beed an visual indication from range or an area attack indicating it hit multiple targets, etc... but how those all look...not governed by the set design.
Set design was explained a few updates back. For those that have been here for a while (or since the kickstarter updates), I know it can be confusing.
And yes, there character creation will have things set up to help payers quickly make a character as well as taking the rails off so you can tinker with many facets of your character’s appearance and power appearance.
