Is there a calendar for the development process of this game?
Like goals the team is trying to achieve by the end of the month?

I am sure that they have some form of Calendar/Tracker of jobs and goals and completion times. It won't be available for us to see though and shouldn't be.
We are after all more like the "Arm Chair Quarterback" than anything else.

Well they want the AB to be here in some form or other before March. And the game is supposed to come out in some form or other by the end of 2018. So I would say things are going to start ramping up here pretty soon. You won't have to wait that much longer!

That's what is called a Roadmap and i'm 100% sure they have one (that's one of the 1st thing done in an IT project so as to manage the ressources and aim the goal)
But, a roadmap is always rework so i don't think that something we'll be able to see.
Communicate on this roadmap would be useless until the final goal is reachable without delay :)

And it would only discourage people and the dev's if something got missed. Best to just keep it up in the air and update when things are worth updating, I feel. As every dad ever says, "We'll get there when we get there!" :p

Another thing is that plans rarely survive first contact. Calendars and schedules are great, but if they're set in stone, other things have to be compromised.
Has anyone seen my mind? It was right here...
Which is why I said that we would never be able to see it. How many goals have been scratched out from one date and re-written onto another because of . . . Life and stuff? Without context at our end it would come across as something that it is not (not going to suggest possible reasons as RL is always way more dramatic than our imaginations).
I have worked on multi-departmental project that had a 5 year timeline for completion and watched is it grew and grew into this 9 year behemoth because the initial scope of the plan wasn't fully realized. Oh the level of re-writes that went into that 25' wall planner was just insane.
Warcabbit puts a calendar together every day. Then "Things" happen and the calendar gets thrown out and Warcabbit makes a new one. This happens every single day. Please send more crayons and paper to Warcabbit to continue this sisyphean task.

I agree. I think, to placate fans, a potentially good idea for a calendar 'for the fans' could simply be a calendar that is available to the fans but that is blank in the future and the devs would update it as things are accomplished, obviously those things that they are okay with sharing. For example, we know CoT had a problem integrating their character creator and that the 2nd Chance is on hold until that is completed. If there was a blank calendar they could put in, on the day something was fixed or just cool 'mile markers', something like "character creator integration fix: Torso - completed" or "1 of 13 Character Creator Integration problems fixed" etc. Obviously those are just vague examples and maybe this isn't even a good idea...but fans like seeing progress even if it's not the goals themselves in the future.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
All we as outsiders really need to know is when the Character Creator will be available. MWM has already mentioned a semi-firm March 2018 target if they want to meet a winter 2018 release.
"Just, well, update your kickstarter email addresses, okay? Make sure they're current?" - warcabbit
To clarify, as Dr T did to me, the target is ASAP with a "worst" case scenario of March.

Sounds to me that we will 'Scoop' the other successor projects with our Character Creator.
Regardless, my addiction to this game will be sealed with this release.
Mannnn, I cannot wait.

I think I better put a moratorium on my Steam purchases so I can play through my existing list before CoT comes out and all other games stop getting any of my time.
