Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

How would You build: A Masked Vigilante

Continuing on theme threads - How would YOU build a Masked Vigilante?

The Caped Crusader, the Punisher or your favorite flavor of skilled Archer - A masked vigilante is an otherwise mostly powerless human, that through dedication, anger, or just loads of money decides to stop (or in the Villain case, create) crime! So with the preview of powers out, and what looks like TONS of different options that seems appropriate, how would build your human apex of skill?

What archetype?
What primary and secondary?
Speculated tertiary and masteries (very speculated)?
Have you created any particular hero or backstory?

How would YOU build a Masked Vigilante?

You can create a masked

You can create a masked vigilante in four easy steps!

1: Kill parents/family
2: Adopt scary theme
3: ????
4: Profit!

But more seriously a punisher/Batman/Daredevil type hero can be any hero as it's more of their methods than their powers and such. Though it's always good to have a reason that they walk a darker path, even if that reason is that they're generally an angry person.

Which brings me to my hero project...

Skull Man
AT: Enforcer (Gladiator)
Primary: Tactical Combat (which I'll make look like dirty fighting or street fighting, Skull is not a trained combatant)
Secondary: Grit (He has some tough body armor combined with his bull headed stubbornness)
Tertiary: Devices (has a compliment of "devices" some obtained where he got the suit others home made)

As a teenager coming from a broken home with an abusive father the boy who would be Skull Man was always angry. He got into fights at school constantly which got him detention and also trips to the school guidance counselor who told him constantly to find a more positive outlet for his energy. On his way home from school one day he came across a mugging which he helped stop by use of a brick and the element of surprise. He had found the positive outlet he was told about. This was only the start of his crime fighting but he soon found himself in way over his head. On the run after an attempt to do good went south he stumbled upon a hidden cache left by the (now deceased) villain Death Mask, gearing up with the old villain's gear, taking the, oh so creative, name of Skull Man (because of the Skull design on the helmet) he goes out to unleash his anger on those deserving!

OH I like it! Also if that were a comic, I could only imagine the panels where he gets confronted by Death masks old victims/ antagonists, thinking he's the original :p

Yeah I'm really excited yup see how tactical combat plays out. Seems very appropriate.

Yeah, I like that he can be mistaken for a villain people thought dead. I think he also has a list of Death Mask's old contacts which is how he can get his suit repaired and such.

I'm more interested in the animations we get to play with than the actual crunch of the mechanics.

I'm very curious about

I'm very curious about animations too since I think I'd like to try to build a mask with Vamp/Vamp Defender AT, focusing on the fear and acc debuff. I'll need to see if "batarang" (thrown object, hopefully not only ninja stars) and smoke grenade visuals are available.

And for fun add a few tert powers that have melee knockdown or perhaps more acc debuffs, just for defense and flavor.

for a batman type I'd go with

for a batman type I'd go with a tactical combat or fighting prowess/ super reflexes or grit gladiator with devices and kinetic for tertiaries. For a punisher type I I'd go with a kinetic/ grit. For a green arrow type I'd go with a kinetic/ devices.
