Name help for a Batman style Commander (thugs Mastermind)

I made him many times. I never got the name right.

He is a villain. He wears a purple zoot suit and fedora. He also uses gloves and a domino mask. He can summon guns and thugs from a parallel dimension. The guns never run out of ammo, and he sacrifices the thugs without a thought...he can always get more.

The look is perfect, I could never get a name though.

as for the thugs, They won't be the COH gangers. They will be wearing standard civilian gear. pressed slacks, long sleeve shirts and ties, suspenders, and nice shoes. One will be a pretty girl, Cause every two bit hood needs a dame.

However the gang warfare style power will feature gangers: because their job is to die as a distraction for my villain.
You come to a room with a boss and his crew, unleash Gang warfare! They go crazy shooting everything in sight. They get the agro, while the boys and me take down the boss before his minions know whats going on. Piece of cake.

so for names: He is pretty standard in the Batman world. His summoning power doesn't really change the balance in a fight at all.
any name will do. The Penquin is just a fat guy with an interesting origin. Sure he has umbrella gimmicks.
The Magpie was a girl with a gang.
The Ventriliquist had a puppet and an armed gang.

Maybe I just need a shtick. That could be his secondary powers. If he is a Bubbler/force field kinda guy that could be a shtick. But still I cannot think of a good name even for a Bubbler. Further there is no guarantee for secondaries as yet.

So whats a name for a fancy hood with what appears to be minor powers, and lots of guns?
I prefer not to use 'Dillinger' style names. I want Gotham worthy names. Any help, please?

Could name them after a kind

Could name them after a kind of gun, Magnum for instance.

Could also have a name that has "a name" in the middle of it. George "Big Guns" Murphy.

If he fancies himself more of an upper class guy then a name that's more socialite would work.

Because of the extra-dimensional powers he could be called Gatekeeper or something similar. I once had a magic based summoner called "Gentleman Caller" but that works more for an older fellow.

Gang folks often either name themselves or get named by other gang folks. So there could be something about him that he wants to be known for, or that others know him for that could be worked into a name. Or named themselves after like a dangerous animal "Snake" "Scorpion" and the like.

I'll post some actual names if any come to me.

Edit: From what I remember of my Batman lore criminals without a gimmick (either in dress, or powers) usually just have a name. Carmine "The Roman" Falcone, Salvatore "The Boss" Maroni, etc. So unless you have a gimmick to really go after being Name "The Name" Name seems to be the way to go.

He seems to have a gimmick,

He seems to have a gimmick, in that he can summon thugs/weapons (guessing small arms) from another dimension with just a thought.

Gangland

That seems to fit what he does and his concept well.

If he summoned them through

If he summoned them through rings he could be Ringleader or Ringmaster.

I had the idea that this guy

I had the idea that this guy is a meat grinder. But I don't think Meatgrinder is the kind of name you're looking for. But Butcher would be, especially if it was a middle name like what Project_Hero mentioned.

So it could be Vito "the Butcher" Bernolli or something like that.

But as far as channeling the Gotham vibe, I think Brand X was spot on with Gangland. That sounds like a villian's nomiker right out of comic books. It was also the name of a short comic book run by Vertigo.

I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

Gangland and Mr Swing are

Gangland and Mr Swing are looking good. Though I'm not sure about the swing part. But both capture the era I'm looking for.

Mr (something sinister) sounding might work.
This is a game villain called Mr Dice...sounds dumb but it worked for the character

Depending on which Batman era

Depending on which Batman era you were going for the name could be kinda silly or more ominous.

Anarchy, Torment or Desolation all could work for a more grim, dark era Batman villain.

Posse, Horde, Mob, Riot or Troupe all fit the theme of a one man gang.

The silly era of Batman like to use a play on words so something like Sydney Cate (Syndicate), Wildcard (would work good if you summoned your pets by throwing playing cards) or Zoot Suit (look up the riots for context).

Call him 'Dark Hood'?

Call him 'Dark Hood'?

No, not 'Dark Helmet'! Not unless you want to play him for humor.

Anarchy is proper spelling, Anarky is a Batman villain first introduced in the 80's. His design is very different from the OP's character.
Original costume design (could not find the more silly costume with elongated neck so this will have to do):

Current costume design:

If people are going to limit their character names to ones that have never been used in a comic before they will be severely limited in what they can use.

Didn't realize they used poor

Didn't realize they used poor literacy (which is Kewl) for his name. Also his new design is weak. Just so lame.

But I did mention it as (if it was spelt the same) having what is essentially a Batman villain sharing a name with a Batman villain starts to get into murky waters.

Like it's fine having a character called Wolverine (as it's a thing) but if that character is also a mutant with claws... Then it starts getting iffy.

His first appearance design was even worse.

He was supposed to be a kid pretending to be an adult or something dumb like that.

As I understand it, the original character has been retired and a new person has taken up the mantle of Anarky in DC comics (hence the new costume design). This is actually a common practice and not just with forgettable secondary characters. Captain America, Spiderman, Superman and even Batman himself have all been replaced for a period of time. I've actually lost count of how many people took up the Green Goblin mantle.
Also, comics have a history of using different spellings to identify characters, especially with villains. There have been two different Liliths in Marvel comics alone (one was Draculas daughter and one was some demon woman who fought all the Ghost Riders, another character that has had different incarnations). I know of at least three Merlins (all spelled different) in Marvel as well.
But I think the most salient point is that if Cyclops decided to use Anarchy as a name for this character he still won't be a copy of any character I can think of and won't exist in the DC universe much less the Batman one.

Yeah, I know all about Legacy

Yeah, I know all about Legacy characters, Brainy. I mean two of DCs biggest character's aren't the original name holders (Flash and Green Lantern).

And as I was saying the name isn't as important (as long as it's an actual name of an actual thing) as the trappings surrounding it. But it doesn't seem like they're leaning towards Anarchy either way, so moot point now. Interesting discussion though.

decision made.

I have agonized long enough. Gangland is awesome. I am going with Mr Easy. His lair will be a bar called, the Speakeasy and will be open to the player base.

Thank you to everyone who helped!
