Sorry Amerikatt didn’t mean to make you depressed. I do like kitties. Often take in strays and give them a good home. The Nightshift base now has an Egyptian mummified cat prowling about named Cleo.

In real life all my cats were strays, free to a good home, or kittens from strays.
One cat came to us pregnant had her litter and left when they were old enough to live without her. She found a good family for them.
Come to think about it we never bought any of our animals but the hamsters and rats.
