So at night sometimes I listen to comic reviews. It might be a good idea to contact a few of the bigger youtube comic reviewers when you are making your next big public push and ask them to review the comic. Could expose the project to a whole group of comic fans that don't know this game is in the works.

You are asking people that potentially know nothing about CoT to make a hot take on CoT and blast them for whatever reason? That sounds like a hard 'no thank you'.
Do you even have any potential YouTubers in mind that would spend an appropriate amount of time to investigate the project before pumping out content on their frantic pace?

reviewing a comic is about reviewing a comic. You don't have to know anything about a mythos to review a 1st issue.
The source material for the comic coming from a game world in development would be the "oh hey ill go look it up:" part

Planet10 does have a point in that selecting a reviewer that has liked similar stuff is a good idea. After all, negative stuff will happen anyway, so doing our best to have SOME positive is just in the best interest of the project goals. I would advise presenting your recommendations as a business case for review.
In other words, the basic idea is solid enough, but the proposed execution could use some fine tuning.
Did any of those reviewers review the CoH comic? Apparently, it was one of the most widely circulated comics (in terms of sheer volume) in it's time. A spiritual successor to CoH publishing a comic would hold some relevance. And what comic book reader hasn't fantasized about being a super hero? Ohh btw, here's the link to that...
I believe this idea is worth considering. Finding the right reviewer would be a great start.
