George R. R. Martin is also responsible for much of the Perlman/Hamilton "Beauty and the Beast". He edited "Wild Cards" and wrote for it, along with an ensemble of authors. He's been a working author since at least the 70s.

One of that ensemble is Melinda Snodgrass, whose [i]Circuit[/i] is my go-to reading for jury duty.[sup]1[/sup] (I'm now looking for Kindle editions of that trilogy.) She also wrote for [i]ST:TNG[/i] and [i]Reasonable Doubts[/i], among others.
[sup]1[/sup] It didn't work last time, but only one jury in almost thirty years isn't a bad record.

I have nothing against Halle Berry herself (I liked her in the X-Men movies). However, the movie "Catwoman" was so universally reviled because it was *not* related -- in ANY manner -- to the beloved DC Comics character. It was so repellant that even *I* have refused to watch it!

She's certainly the Catwoman that's likely the closest to being naked while -still- technically wearing her outfit. ;)

Now don't get me wrong I don't have anything against Halle Berry specifically as an actress despite how bad her Catwoman movie was. I think she's lovely and she was certainly fine for things like the James Bond movie ([i]Die Another Day[/i]). But for me part of what was bad about her Catwoman movie was that I believe the character should always wear some version of a fully covered, head-to-toe skin tight catsuit. In this character's case I think the "full skintight coverage" is actually sexier.

This means that (again for me at least) Halle Berry's version of the Catwoman was pretty much one of the -worse- versions of the character I've ever seen. It may sound weird but even though women "showing skin" certainly works in many situations I think it's actually unacceptable for a Catwoman. *shrugs*

This is a nice pic of Carolyn Jones. She happens to have "portrayed" Morticia Addams but it's clear she's not trying to "be" Morticia in this pic. If this pic had been snapped on the set of the Addams Family TV show I would say she would've looked ridiculous in that context. ;)

Not quite normal...
Well the first pic (beyond the fact it's not a bikini) is an example of artwork that still makes Morticia look good. ;)
As far as Wednesday goes she was sporting the early 1900s style swimsuit to highlight the extreme difference between herself and all the little blonde Barbies she was forced to suffer at that summer camp. So her attire served the purpose of the movie and promoting her character in those scenes.
