I guess the assumption with this scenario is that you've never had to (or chosen to) eat Soylent Green before.
At least Soylent Green has been completely processed and made into vaguely homogenous square wafers. If you're going to have to effectively become a cannibal to stay alive eating people-bits in the form of Soylent Green is probably the least gruesome way to do it. Besides everyone knows Soylent Red and Yellow are simply gross...

That's why I sort of had to ask if the assumption here was that you'd never eaten Soylent Green before. If you had never eaten it before then this scenario might be a big deal to you. On the other hand if you were trapped somewhere and only had Soylent Green and salsa to eat but you've already been eating Soylent Green regularly for years then you'd probably eat the Soylent Green without thinking twice about it. Just food for thought...

Really depends on the definition of the phrase "very hungry"... I mean after taking a very long hike in the mountains, I might be "very hungry" at the end. But I might wait like an hour before resorting to cannibalism?
Yeah I figured Cyclops probably meant if you were trapped somewhere and hadn't otherwise eaten for like a week or more. Like you implied I can oftentimes get "very hungry" just before normal dinner on an average day but to my knowledge I haven't resorted to cannibalism to solve that yet. *knocks on wood*

If there's salsa, sounds like there's food to be had. May not be meat, but then I'd just survive on vegetables for awhile.
Of course, if it came to something akin to the movie, Alive, and they're eating people already dead with no other source of food (they didn't even have vegetation to eat) then dead bodies may begin to look like a good idea. Killing someone for food akin to "Snow Piercer" however, would be more of a no. :p
That's why I figured the Soylent Green version of cannibalism is probably the easiest to swallow (pun [i]definitely[/i] intended). ;)

Did I make it myself, or is someone else prepping? If it's self prep I feel better about it. But I get really bored with it after a meal or two and you usually get like 6 meals from a pouch of powder. That and it's kinda a pain to clean up. Usually I flavor it with vanilla, but I think next time I'll try mint and chocolate chips.
