That's an anime/manga stereotype. I don't think it's one for the comic book/superhero genre. But then I wouldn't know.

Redlynne's comment might be slightly "manga-centric" but there's still about a 95% chance that the main hero character in any generic western sci-fi or comic book type story is going to turn out to be "The Chosen One" who can do everything and save everyone. The Japanese may have their giant robot pilots be we have Neo, Luke Skywalker, Leeloo, Flash Gordon, Superman and so on. ;)

I find myself wondering if Kathleen Aurelia might become an "important" (as opposed to iconic) NPC on the Law vs Lawbreaking alignment axis. Essentially, someone who can support PCs who are on the "side" of the Law, and who is an enemy to PCs who are against the Law.
Conundrum of Furballs ... care to comment on this possibility? Should we be looking to this person with an eye for Content Potential in the game we actually PLAY, as opposed to just in the Lore?

Many of the characters portrayed in the [i]Tales of the TCPD[/i] and [i]Tales from the Underworld[/i] update series will be present in the game itself. I will not say which, or how many, but the stories don't end just because the game is launched...

I just have to say that I get the giddy tinglies from the tech updates just like everyone else--because I want this game in my hands so badly--but these lore updates are what let me know that this game will be truly awesome.
I mean, the tech is the flesh and bones, but the lore is the heart and soul.
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
