i know.
you want all the time devoted to the core game.
but alot of successful games are more than their core.
and minigames can add options to the core game.
say a arcade machine allows you to play a really simple 8 bit game with only 2 levels, and one boss. it requires a tiny bit of inagame money, and it is amazing that the machine works as such.
it could even center around the characters and lore of the game, and not be some new invention. or be controlling a avatar that resembles aplayer character who's owner donates ALOT of money.
you invovle it via the core game by making it offer a random password to bypass a door for that character alone. thus it is part of a mission. and no one can lookup the code online to get around it.
or even a pvp game like this: http://youtu.be/_hi2OpiiJM0
loser has to pay again to play, winner can play solo free. "here comes a new challenger!"

I think it would be a really cool feature if you could go to a zone like Pocket D, or something, where it was set up inside like a video game arcade (or like Dave and Busters, for those if you who have no memory of video game arcades, GOD I miss the 80s...*sigh*) and you can click on the games to play them. Maybe they cost Inf to play, maybe you have to go to the cash shop and buy tokens, etc. Video pinball like Windows used to have would be nice. also, being able to multiplayer-mode with people would be cool. If you're playing "Contra" and I put in a quarter I can jump in and play cooperatively. Or we could play against each other in some other type game (like Karate Champ" or we could play for highest score in other games like Pac-Man.

eventually have some here and there? yes!
imagine a 2 level radiac game set up like mega man! the side of the arcade would have your face and name......
i bet we can get people to donate alot to have this done for them. heck i bet supergroups might get together and have a game made, then port in into this game! each level would feature a different member, or it could be a multiplayer game with choices like "gauntlet".
"your not big ingame till there is a ingame minigame featuring you...."
starcraft 2 has in one stage of the game a catina. there is a old-school arcade machine there..... and ... it works if clicked: http://youtu.be/IGbTcuhJCYA
