Awesome dude!
I have to say... Just from listening to "Phantasm", I had to laugh a little.. In a good way :D
Your ability mix of the different elements and attention to timing and detail is quite mindblowing... I'm a musician (we all are, aren't we? lol) and know just how hard it can be to try to take such an eclectic amount of different sounding, well sounds, and mold them into something. Let alone something good... The way that you're able to bring out the depth of the trible beat/chunky guitar, while at the same time opening up to the opratic vocals... without one thing overpowering the other is a TRUE sign of finely hewn tallent. Truly masterpiece material. I tip my hat to you sir...
I think I might just opt to get that 'Music to Save/Harm Citizens By' add-on, just so that I can jam out to your tunes a little earlier... lol
Just as a side question though... Do you play any of the instruments in your scores? Guitar/Drums/etc.?
*taps head* Was it just because I was browsing here and Shamus Young's blog at the same time, or did you pop up when he was mentioning music for the maybe-game he's making?

@The Bran:
Midi and synth is what i use, i don't play guitar or bass or any instrument really... I just... Do.
@Von Krieger:
Not sure, ive not sent him anything so unless he has found me then no, probably was not me.

Wow! Amazing tracks mate! Didn't really know what to expect but I like it a lot.
Liking 'Aftermath', reminds me a little of 'In the house, in a heartbeat', imo an incredibly emotive track and I get the same feeling with 'Aftermath'.

''HENRI by NAME, HENRI by... erm... nature''...
...should have thought that through a bit more.
Do you have softer tunes? Everything is so aggressive and full of anticipation. What about something more ambient or nostalgic?

Awesome stuff. My favorite so far is "Mayhem in a cape" I like the synthetic sound that's almost like a motorcycle gunning the engine.

@ Adelante, Bearing in mind that none of this is actual game music, I imagine he might be working in sets. There will need to be dozens of clips like these so HW may be doing the aggressive stuff first for impact and the softer clips will come along later as will the melodic, the heroic trumpety stuff and the stuff that lets you know you've just met the big bad of the mission etc. More softer stuff (that doesn't belong to the game) is coming "soon" I'm guessing.

Having said that perhaps the (actual) menu clips could be a bit more neutral then what you have here? At least when you get to the costume building part. These do sound a bit red-side at the moment.
Enjoying whats here so far, HW thanks for sharing these concept pieces.
Cheers!

To put it in perspective, everything produced for CoT at this point in music is mere "This might work". Nothing is set in stone and wont be set in stone until the release for the game.. Music is ment to enhance the experience not take it over. For this i need to let my colleagues create the world first, but until then i am making ideas that can be tweaked, worked with and altered for the game.
The larger library we have, the more we have to work with. The music just as the game is an constant evolving progress and it requires a lot of work, work i am starting now so that when we get closer and closer to launch and beta we have found the sound for CoT. This is why you hear so much different things, orchestral, electronic, brass, strings, heavy drums, bass and distorted, white noise. We need to find what works and what does not work.

Somethings that impresses me about you is that you play a refrigerator as a musical instrument, and that your Tetris song is epic.
I still think that 'Demented Fridge' is a project you should work on HW. ^__^ Can't wait to have you on NSR with us again!
