Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Let's Get Ready To....

If you ask a fan of Superheroes what they find most memorable, they'll mention the characters, the costumes, the stories, and one other thing... the fights. After all, the epic struggle between Good and Evil isn't that interesting unless someone is getting a well deserved thrashing. Thanks to the hard work of developer AmiEvil, our Combat system is now fully functional, and we're thrilled to be able to bring you this first look at combat in City of Titans. We'll start with a breakdown of one powerset, and then show you the set in action against some nefarious NPCs.

Let's look at the ‘Tactical Combat’ powerset from the most basic melee and ranged attacks, all the way up to the devastating top tier.

The two most basic attacks are the Tier 0 Ranged Strike/ Tier 0 Close Strike and Tier 1 Rapid Strike, all of which do light, single target damage with a light resistance debuff added to Rapid Strike.

Ranged Strike

Close Strike

Rapid Strike

Tier 2 is Nerve Attack which does medium single target damage, and adds a medium damage and recharge debuff.

Arcing Strike at tier 3 returns to light damage but now has a cone of damage and can recharge other buffs.

Also at tier 3, Disabling Blows continues the cone of effect but now does medium damage over time and recharges debuffs.

Tier 4 gives the player their first Self-Buff with Tactical Awareness. Using this gives the player a buff to accuracy and damage

Tier 5’s Paralyzing Strike does strong damage and adds in a Hold effect.

Vortex of Pain at tier 6 is the first PBAoE attack of the set, doing light damage over time and adding an armor piercing effect.

Tier 7 has two options in Sweep and Wild Fury. Sweep can be either a cone or PBAoE doing light damage and knock down, while Wild Fury is a Medium damage DoT and a Debuff.

Sweep

Wild Fury

Tier 8 has Disorienting Blows which does medium damage over a wide cone with a hold

And the set ends with tier 9’s Beatdown, doing Very Strong Damage with an improved Critical Hit rate.

As if that weren’t enough, each of these powers will have additional effects when used as part of a combo. We’ll tell you more about combos and how they’ll work in future updates.

And now, let’s see the set IN ACTION!!

The video was taken from inside our test engine so some of the graphics may not be as sharp as they will be Live, but think it gives you a nice feel for how combat will go. As exciting as all this looks, we want to stress that this is NOT the final version of combat. This is simply the critical first step. We'll be showing you more full powersets as things move forward but there is a lot more work to be done. Now that we have a system that works and will respond to commands, we can start adding all the other elements that will make combat feel unique to City of Titans.

The next steps from here will be:

- Connect and Test the User Interface

- Add the back end code for combat

- Add animations, special effect suites and sounds for each powerset.

- Add power effects (Stun, DoT, ect.)

- Test and make adjustments

Once we've made some additions and improvements, we plan on making multiple powersets available so that YOU can experiment. We'll tell you more about that in future updates.

We'll have a lot more to show you as we move into 2022, including some interesting news about Alexandria, but until then, on behalf of all of us here at Missing Worlds Media, we hope you have a Happy, Safe, and Joyous Holiday season.
