It was an average house party, held by average teens on a completely average valentine's day, though of course something was diffrent. Rather than partaking in underage drinking and heroin usage, they where using something else. A newly made street drug that has been named "black sand" by the masses, and while at first it gave a sense of joy, an hour into the party, they realize the true danger of the drug as a few of them have gone beserk and are now in the process of murdering their classmates in a fit of animalistic rage, all the while the majority of them are still unaware of it all in a state of joy.

Hearing the disturbance in the area a dispatch team was sent out, a police unit that specializes in incidents involving super powered phenomena, the special powers unit 13 or SPU13 for short. Leading this swat team like group of 6 other highly trained officers is Detective June, a large built woman with blue highlights in her hair, she has training and gadgets specifically targeted towards dealing with and neutralizing individuals and groups with unusual or strange powers. The group gather outside the door ready to bust into the house and do their sweep.
"Alright boys according to our reports these kids seem to be under the influence of some kind of class C power burst, I don't care if it's demon possession or drugs these kids seem to have little self awareness of what they're doing this makes them both unstable and unpredictable." She takes out of her jacket a large energy revolver and turns a mechanism to alter the gun's setting. "Alright I want a clean sweep, tazers on standby, if tazers don't work try using sonic burts and tranquilizers. Remember your training only use lethal settings as a last resort. We go in on my mark. Ready..." She readies her weapon as the other officers do the same, one stands by the door ready to kick it in. "MARK!."
The officer ahead kicks in the door and draws his weapon ready to fire with the others ready to follow.

When the door opens the squad and their leader are met with a ghastly sight as enraged lunatics are seen attacking people who seem to be so happy they don't even know what's going on, all the while the sounds of a violin can be heard faintly in the background along with a mad man's laughter, some of the enraged lunatics turn to the sound of the door opening and run towards the squad

One of the men, a new recruit to SPU13, dashed out and to a nearby bush as he vomited. The rest stood their ground as two of the six remaining officers held out their forearms and activated some kind of energy shield to protect against the charging teens. Officer June and the remaining officers fired their energy weapons as burst of low volt electricity shot out at their attackers meant taze and stun them.

Around 2/3rds of the attacking group fall to the ground, some of them foaming at the mouth, the other third are now up against the energy barrier trying to push, 3 of them already have atleast one hand through completley ignoring any damage or pain caused by them, all the while the violin music seems to have stopped along with the maniacle laughter as an eerily calm voice can be heard throught the house saying "Beautiful, isn't it?"

June and another officer handcuffs together the hands of several of the remaining attackers as they reach around the energy shields, with the majority incapacitated she moves past the barricade as one of the hand cuffed individuals make a run toward her, whom she knocks with a well placed kick. "You four switch to sonics and contain whoever is still moving, Officer Riley your with me." She moves through the chaotic scene with her partner as she approaches where the voice is coming from. June pays little regard to anything else as Riley uses a sonic cannon to keep any one left away from the two. "Beauty is not the word I would use, are you going to show yourself or am I going to have to come over there and punch you myself?"

"Don't worry my sweet little roachling I'll be there soon..." a second afterwards a man could be seen shuffling through the horde of lunatics wearing a suit and hat similar to the common depiction of the mad hatter except rather than being coloured with the various purples and greens and yellows, his costume is black and red. He was an old man with twisted and matted grey hair along his crown and chin, the most disturbing thing about him however was his unnaturaly calm expression. A second after that another man can be seen in another place skulking around, and another and another all of them the same person "love is in the air my darling..." they all announce in unison

"Ok definitely not creepy at all." June takes a moment to examine her surroundings "So you are either all clones or just some illusions, either way we have plenty of handcuffs for all of you." Her and Riley raise their guns "Lets see if the illusion story is true honey." They start firing at the various duplicates, trying to either knock them out with tranquilizer darts or see if they are even real or not.

Firing at all the copies, the traingulizer darts pass through them, revealing their true nature as illusions, however the sound of the firing seems to have attracted the attention of the psychopaths nearby as horde of them race toward june and riley, the illusionary doubles draw out a rapier each with a sound of unsheathing metal, and they begin to chant again "feast your eyes on this heavenly place, wipe off her tears with a slap to the face, take on all the beauty here, nothing to fear, nothing to fear..."

June responded "I hate poets, especially ones I can't punch!" Riley drew up a riot shield to protect June as she began firing at the psychopaths.

The psychopaths all fall to the ground unconscious from the tranquilizer darts, but as soon as they fall another threat appears to have risen, the old man that's apparently behind all this has shown himself, and he's right behind June preparing to strike her with his rapier
