Probably the wrong spot for this...
Yesterday, you folks had a little fun with the April Fool's update.
I'd had a busy day. I came home, a bit tired and saw that. And, ashamed as I am to say it, for about 35 seconds, my blood pressure went up, I started to see red, and I was about to get really pissed! And to make it worse, I'm not even sure if Garriot would have been a good thing or not. Clueless as to who he is, although I've heard his name.
And then, the joke was revealed. I can't believe I'd spent all day and had forgotten it was April 1st.
So, thanks for that little joke. It was well done. In retrospect, I enjoyed it - except for those 35 seconds.
I mean, I caught Netfilx trying to phish (as opposed to Netflix) yesterday, but that got by me. Just wasn't thinking about it. So, thanks - it was just the right amount of silliness to recognize the day.
Those who have no idea what they are doing have no idea that they don't know what they are doing. - John Cleese
So for 35 seconds the emphasis was on the last syllable of "Emancipist"?
THE TITANS ARE COMING! THE TITANS ARE COMING!
FYI Garriott was the designer of the Ultima games and the alter ego of the character "Lord British" from same. He was that game's "Statesman = Jack Emmert" type guy.

When Richard was working on Tabula Rasa, his office had multiple titles in the window beside his door. One of them was "Religious Leader" ...
