Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Movement powers n' stuff

OK, question: I know we will get a free starter movement power at first level.

But what is dear to my heart is, when can we FLY? I loved flight at COH. for me it was the only way to travel.
Well that is really a question for us all, what level will the major movement powers be available?

and for that matter, will big feathery wings be available at launch?

and if you have wings, will glide be available at 1st level? With wings, death from falling really shouldn't be an issue.

Wings are a costume item.

Wings are a costume item.
Costume items are "cosmetic" and have no game mechanical relevance or bearing on what your PC can "do" or not.

Powers are a game mechanical item.
If you don't want to fall, toggle on your Fly or Hover Power.

Redlynne, I am well aware of what is and is not a power...was just a lil quasi humor since wings were mentioned... plus, never hurts to plug something one is interested in where ya can. :p

Cyclops, no worries. plus, "search" is over rated imo. plus, the moment you do post in a thread that hasn't been used in a bit you get accused of Necro....to me...that is exactly the place to put like minded thoughts....this way when searching you have one thread to look at versus a million. :)

Just for clarification, you don't get the 'major' travel power at level 1 you get access to the type of travel power you want at level 1. From there, well let's just say things get different as you level.

Why would wall crawling be a travel power? Seems to be more of a side power to go along with travel/sprint/walk.

perhaps combined with an acrobatics type travel power? a lil faster than the standard sprint, a lil better jump than the standard jump, with some nice flips and stuff mixed in and the ability to "cling" to vertical surfaces. just a thought.

DCUO has a nice "Acrobatics"

DCUO has a nice "Acrobatics" travel power. You can cling to and climb up buildings, and it includes a "glide" function so that you can climb a tall building and glide a good distance before having to get more altitude again. Ground movement is quick, but not as fast as Super Speed.

What it really needs, though, is an animation that lets the cape flare out during "glide." Even in CoH, our wings were still when we stood, but would flap when we flew or hovered. I would like the option to use my cape as a hang glider!

Argh! Streetlights! Super

Argh! Streetlights! Super Speed in DCUO can also turn up vertical surfaces, which can make streetlamps and doorways so Dangerous! If you don't steer carefully, you can find yourself doing loop-de-loops around them.

Yes, Acrobatics can climb poles, trees, and buildings, but can't stick you to a passing vehicle.
