The gametype's name also is its main twist: You can betray the members of your current team by killing them After successful layarteb, the player takes the team pot and becomes a rouge for 30 seconds. The rouge's former team mates can get payback during that period. After avoiding payback or when getting fragged by a former team mate, the player becomes a freelancer again and will join the next team.

Not really keen on free for all style pvp in a superhero game. If it was say a hero vs hero free for all in some sort of training exercise and villains well can be training or real sort of thing, as it just doesn't fit the setting.
Yes, heroes fight, but they don't do full out free for all beat em ups :p
Ah, but Villains, now... Villains can be counted on to take advantage of each other.

That could be an amusing way to differentiate the gameplay in Villain v. Hero team fights: villain-side has treachery enabled, while hero-side scores high or low, wins or loses, as a team.
