Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Meet The New Boss

Now, just to ease some potential confusion, this is still Warcabbit, and I'm still the Project Lead for City of Titans. I'm not going anywhere. But we've had a corporate election, because that's the kind of thing corporations do, and we've had some really great results.

So, without further ado, here's the new President of Missing Worlds Media!

Take it away, Dr. Tyche!

Since the beginning, Missing Worlds Media has always been a team affair, made up of people laboring out of love, passion, or just sheer stubbornness. But a group without a hand on the rudder would drift aimlessly. That’s why, early on, we decided that we’d create a parliament to elect our leadership. We’ve held several elections as we’ve moved into the production phase, and the beginning of a new year meant that it was time to hold our latest; one that would determine our leadership for the rest of 2014.

But with elections come shifts, as people change positions, or take on new responsibilities. To serve on Missing Worlds Media's board, we have chosen five highly qualified and capable people: Sara “Firefairy” Quinn, Chris “Warcabbit” Hare, Cameron “Segev” Johnson, David “Terwyn” James and Jennifer “Petalstorm” Bolack. The board is the executive management of the company itself, overseeing all operations and making sure all is going according to plan.

To directly manage Missing Worlds Media, we have invested leadership into a company president. I was honored to have been chosen by the volunteers to serve as the new President of Missing Worlds Media, taking over from Quinn (AKA Firefairy) as of February 14th. I inherited a team focused on a goal – a dream really. Only by working together will we see our dreams take flight.

To assist me is Tim “Kitsune 9 Tails” Ross, who we have come to refer to as a vice-president, although he is more than that. In many ways, Tim has helped to keep focus on the final goal when people get lost in the details. We guide a highly qualified team of leads; men and women that you have come to know over these past months, who coordinate our volunteers in the trenches.

Right now, we are deep in what in the game industry is termed pre-production. It is not the most exciting time - it doesn’t result in much to show. What it does do is save time, and help to bring a better product at the end.

We have all witnessed game development hell, where a game seems to be trapped in the development phase for an eternity. In almost all of these cases, pre-production was cut short, and it really shows. What is often missed, however, is how other companies spent a bit of extra time in pre-production. When that happens, it too shows.

By focusing on pre-production, we can test and evaluate early on, when changes are easier to manage. We can also involve you, the fan, in the pre-production process. When we post ideas here, we listen to the feedback. Sometimes our ideas strike where we believe they will. Sometimes, they just don't ring the way we had hoped. We listen to both, so we can refine and improve.

Some have asked what is the overall vision, assuming that there is a single eye, a single person, who comprehends it all. The reality is that this project is made up of people, each with their own vision and own ideas. I have a vision, but it is incomplete. Tim has a vision, Quinn has a vision, every single one of us has a vision. But each are incomplete; even together, the vision is not whole.

It is you, the fan, the future player of City of Titans, who finish the vision. You are the lens which brings focus, which will bring life to the city we are building.

Thank you,

Nate “Doctor Tyche” Downes
