Origin : Mutant (Villain).
Brian was a typical school bully, not the toughest in his year, but big and surly enough to pound those weaker than him. He is also a little bit 'typically' dim witted. He took no interest in what he calls 'book lessons', giving only mild interest to PE class, and even then, only those that allowed him to be aggressive to other pupils. After school he spent his time getting into (starting) fights, terrorising local kids, and trying to steal from shops.
His only saving grace was his place on a local Rugby (or if you prefere, American football) team, however, he was not well liked there either, mainly due to his utter lack of sportsmanship.

It was the day I got kicked off the team. The other teams coach had shouted at two of his teams wimps to mark me, so I decided to show him, I walked over and headbutted the goon in the face!

Brian was dismissed from the team and told to wait till the game was over. Instead he slashed the tyres on the team bus, then destroyed the changing rooms. At this point he was in a town he was not familiar with, and not wanting to face the team, and with no way to get home, he slunk off to find trouble.
It didnt take him long. Finding a back alley, he climbed a fence, and made his way into the stores of a supermarket. He tried to dodge the attentions of guards and shop workers, to no avail, and he was soon running for that same fence. As he struggled to climb, this mood, he stress of the day and the adrenaline, pushed his body over the edge, and his mutant gene activated.
Brian hit the ground, there was a big gap in the fence where he had been in contact with it. He smirked and reached out, and metal flowed. Up and into his hands, and in moments his entire body had become metal.

Brian turned, and killed his persuers.

Brian can absorb any metal, his body is solid metal, with any required points flowing like liquid when he moves. He can also expell metal from his body, and can pick specific metals in his composition. He can increase his size/mass by 50%, and reduce by 33%. Increasing size increases strength and reduces agility (and visa versa).
His metalic form is naturally strong and resiliant, he can lift approx 50 tons, and can withstand many forms of attack, including high calibre bullets and explosions. Any injuries he sufferes can be quickly healed by liquifying the injured area and letting the wound flow together, and by absorbing additional metal. His metalic form allows him to survive in many harsh environments.

As noted, Brian, or 'Silver' as he now calls himself, is somewhat dim witted. He could be on the verge of being an omega level mutant, if only he had the imagination to use his talents wisely. Silver often works for richer, smarter, and generally less powerfull villains. His main trick is to absorb his way past fences and security doors, smash through walls, and then simply absorb gold bullion to be stolen, and walk out.
Silver's last defeat came at the hands of a certain friendly neighborhood wall crawler, when he was tricked into absorbing a ton of sodium, before being dumped in a sewer. It took him 3 weeks to reform...
