I'm not talking about a costume option. But a POWER.
GL has a body hugging green aura that was his force field.
COH had round bubbles.
I don't want a green glow inside a bubble. I want that glow INSTEAD of the bubble.
(seriously. I will look like a Disney balloon if I'm forced to use both.)
and I want to color it any way I want. cause I'm all uppity like that.
Now we could argue for force powers like GL/or Wildstar Espers might have. and it would be cool having a giant green fist delivering an area affect attack...but that's a whole power set idea all by itself--and it demands an animation for every single visual affect.
I just want force fields to have the option to hug the body.
Please.

You want a force field graphic that looks more like a conformal "aura" than a spherical bubble.

It would be a cool animation for PFF.
Be Well!
Fireheart
A body aura would be a simple one compared to all the other things that the Lantern Corps can do manifest through their powers.
In my experience the one you are talking about has only been represented as the self-only type while the ones applied to other has only been represented as a sphere.
CoX had auras like the OP describes, but as a costuming option. In fact there were a bunch of different ones, with different options for them (smokey, flamey, glowwing, sparkling, etc). I don't see why you couldn't have those auras or something similar as an animation/graphics option for a force field set.
R.S.O. of Phoenix Rising
Sorry for resurrecting this, but CoH had a "ring bubble", a little force field around the hand on one hand.
I saw a guy and girl under the Atlas statue hanging out, floating, with that and Green Lantern garb (white, black, green tights with a big Greek capital phi on the chest.) Looked awesome.
I never could figure out what power this was, or, more likely, a hidden emote or even costume piece not available to the public, the way they took out the Wolverine costume. Anyone know? This was still in towards the end of the game, where I saw it.

The very existence of the taunting tank irritates, for it requires idiotic AI that obeys the taunt.
