Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Topographic maps can be spiffy! Unless they look like an '80s flight simulator.

Watching it at 1080p I thought that video looked a bit blurry.

I'm partial to the first one

I'm partial to the first one with the rooks. It looks good. Really good. That one says "comic book art" to me. All the details, down to the checkered hair pattern, are awesome. The black and white "City of Titans" logo, honestly, also looks much better and standout than the multi-colored with brushed steel logo at the top of this page too, IMO.

The others don't particularly strike a chord with me. that's not to say they're bad or anything, I just don't care for the... style, I guess?

This is why we do an early peek, with a cross-section to see which pieces people respond to more. Then we know which areas we need to focus on.

I haven't said anything because I understand art is highly subjective and didn't want to hurt the artists' feelings, but if you're really looking for feedback then I have to say I agree with Xander: the b&w MWM screen is the most professional looking and the first gathering of characters is the closest to what I would consider proper comic book quality.

+1 except I kind of liked the painted looking one with the hawk\eagle guy. Kind of Kingdom Come painted-pannel looking.

I like the art style of the

I like the art style of the first group picture, and see a sci-fi appeal in the 3rd one with the (telekinetic?) bird, but to be honest I don't yet have a connection to any NPC groups. Anthem is the closest to being a recognizable / relatable character, perhaps. Until there's a connection for me, I'd gravitate toward cityscapes, action scenes, or "in production" artwork (showing the concept or progression of a building or costume) for desktops rather than group photos of NPCs. Of the choices in the video, the CoT color logo is the one I'd use.

what`s the extent of the

what`s the extent of the wallpapers you`ll be using for this? I myself have issues ever finding anything i like for wallpapers that i HAVE to create or adjust in photoshop having said i run an extremely monitor-obsessive setup for an overall resolution of 7680x2880. not that i mind, as long as the outcome is good? (: but i`m mostly curious of we may stretch into the 1440p

I agree with earlier statements, the first and third pictures are really great. I like the Phoenix Plaza as well. In fact for a background I would like to have that one that is in your video plus a "complete" one (showing all the textures). A before and after showing where we started and where we are going to end up.

Ahem. Before everyone breaks out the pitchforks, those would be the internally posted overviews for the purposes of making sure we didn't somehow accidentally transpose a bit of the Himalayas into the actual map data. You're not missing out on anything -- there's nothing in there yet that you haven't already seen (probably cleaner details of) during the various updates.

Actually, you've seen more than that, but I'll leave figuring out where as an exercise to the readership. I have to leave y'all *something* to chew on, after all...

I just contacted support, have the KS badge, Tier lvl is Dynamic Duo, and was asking how I can unlock the wallpapers after downloading them? That pesky password thing:) And also wanted to know where I should start for getting my Dynamic Duo friend involved? Like letting him in on the wallpapers too? I read the update, but still the whole process seems a little fuzzy.

Some of us still use 4:3 monitors. In the future please generate the standard aspect ratio wallpapers in higher resolutions than 640x480. 1600x1200 should not be a problem considering there are widescreen copies up to 1900x1200.
