Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

ABC File Music Support!

For a long time, I've imagined my heroes in CoH and Champions to show up along with their own custom fanfare... Whether the traditional, Superman-style trumpet blast, the Protoman-esque "you hear him before you see him" mysteriousness, or a victorious clip of their leitmotif when they win an epic fight, almost every great superhero has their theme song.

That being the case, I'd like to offer a suggestion:

There's a music file format called ABC that many games have used to incorporate editable, player-made music without all the issues that would come with a built-in music making system. It's mostly a set of notes placed into a document in an encoded data format that can play in-game through an instrumental soundfont. With this, people can create their own theme songs and play them in game with an item or temp power, perhaps a trumpet, flute or even guitar!

"But Cori!" I hear you say, "The ability for individual players to play custom music in an MMORPG?! That's insane!"

To that I say... Two successful MMORPGs still online today actually HAVE this exact feature! Specifically, ArcheAge and Lord of the Rings Online. I think APB also has this, but I'm not entirely certain.

Of course, this is just an idea, not a demand, so I'm just putting it out there. What does everyone else think?

Old Mabinagi also had people

Old Mabinagi also had people write and play custom music. I haven't played newer Mabinagi Heroes (aka Vindictus) so I don't know if it does too. And I remember we had one guy in our guild in Archeage who leveled up his composition skill and we all sent him requests to make songs for us to play with mats to make the song scrolls. If I remember correctly, you just get a song out of a midi editor and convert it to 3ml format, or something like that. But my play music skill was so low I could never recognize anything I played!

As to your suggestion, I could see a special "heroic pose" emote that automatically plays one of a few pre-selected themes. Once your infamy gets to a certain level, and maybe with a special mission unlock, you get the ability to create your own "heroic pose" theme. I honestly think this would be so absolutely cool. We've talked about customizing everything else, why not our own superhero theme!
I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

APB did include a sound

APB did include a sound editor for playing to anyone you beat during their death cam. Vindictus to my knowledge did not support player music. Though it's been several years since I played. GW2 has several instruments that you can play there is a Macro type program that you can use to program music into. Although you have to compose all your music from scratch there isn't a way to import music in any format and have it translated to the games instruments. I would bet their is a plugin available in the URE store to support this kind of request.

Ohh, this is something that

Ohh, this is something that could up the personalization and really amp ones immersion, even if it's limited to just a leitmotif or similar.
