Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

One thing I always that would have been neat. My character uses pistols. So she runs around with a holsters on her thighs. But when I'm in battle and shooting ya see that my holsters still have pistols in them. Always thought it would be cool if I actually pulled those pistols out to use them. Or actually use the sword on my side or back if my toon actually used swords in combat.

Something that has always

Something that has always bugged me as well.

That said, trying to deal with things as 'physical items' with quite that level of tolerance is probably not practical for a variety of reasons. However, I've been plotting a couple of ideas that might at least manage the 80/20 level of addressing this particular issue. Won't really be possible to tell how well it will work, for certain, until we start to actually drill down into the details of both combat animation and constructing costume pieces, unfortunately.

If it bugged someone on the Dev Team also, then i'm sure there will be some ideas formed up. Or could just do like most video games do nowadays. Don't actually make it a costume static item. Like in SWTOR, characters run around with weapons. But when they aren't in battle the characters will place the weapon on their hip or back. And when they go into battle they reach for it and remove it from its spot. Lots of 3rd person games do that stuff nowadays. So you always have the visual of the weapon. So after you pick ya starter powers and get sent to the creator. If you picked something that uses say a sword. Maybe it will let you pick a spot on the body that lets ya holster or sheath ya weapon. And you can of course customize the skin of the weapon. I'm not a coder so I don't even know if doing that would just be way to much work. But it is an idea if possible.

And there should be a Brandish key. Cause sometimes we like to look cool running around with our weapon drawn. And if we are in a costume contest would be great to be able to brandish our weapon.

Nothing like a ninja hanging around with his swords crossing on his back (Shen from League of Legends, fro example)
I don't know how the Devs are planning to change from passive animation to battle animation, but with a small delay it can be possible to do this weapon reach or power charge (for example, fire users must charge for a sec before entering battle instance).
Think about an ice guy hand shaking you with his freezing hands always at -...º F , wouldn't be nice.
It could even add another customization level for powers/weapons charging/reaching
If you need more examples, let's take some X-men into this (not all of them). Some just use their powers as instant activation, but usually they are ready for battle when they do it, but there are some others that just can't do it instantly, such as Jean Grey (she needs focus) or Storm (she needs to concentrade and elaborate the weather before using it's full power against the enemy).
If you get this into a real kung fu fighter, they need to be aware of their enviroment and it's much better when they get settle for battle with their chosen position.
I'm just elaborating some thoughts in order to help you both out. Sheep with ideas and Ellysyn with some possible actions that we could hope for (maybe).

One thing I've always wanted

One thing I've always wanted is to have a sheathed sword in hand whilst walking around out of battle stance, having it belt attached during emotes and then the scabbard or saya in one hand and the sword in the other during combat? Not sure how feasible that would be.

CoH ended up introducing

CoH ended up introducing those cyborg set combat only HUD face holograms... something like that would work, right, except for weapons? Just have the holstered weapon disappear during combat, instead of appearing like the HUD.

As having an archer type hero, I for one would LOVE to have bow & quiver. It would also be nice to have the bow on my back, when I don't want it, instead of suddenly pulling it out of thin air, or my......well, you get the picture.....GRIN

Id love to see weapons both

Id love to see weapons both in passive mode (stored on my character) as well as active (in hand).
However I can see a potential issue with the proposed way that we get to chose our power animations.
Here's my example:
Set = Single Target/Melee Weapons/%Animation%
My %Animation% can differ between each of my powers so IN THEORY I could have:
T1 = Dagger
T2 = Short Sword
T3 = 2 Hand Axes
T4 = Battle Axe
T5 = Long Sword
T6 = Flail
T7 = Mace
T8 = Maul
T9 = Great Axe

Now imagine the visuals of a character with ALL of those weapons equipped visually.
Now lets assume we can get it working and looking 'possible' if not realistic (we are supers after all even if im a 'natural' super). What happens when the player wants to rearrange the weapons? I want the Mace on my left hip not the Maul? I want the Hand Axes on my lower back? Will I be able to change the positions of my weapons? Even if I inly use 1 (or the game decides to limit it to 2-3 weapons) can I move my sword from my hip to my back? Can I have the quiver on my leg not my back? Can I have my daggers on my forearms, thighs, stomach AND back?

Not trying to put the kibosh on anything :)
